What this site is. themodelhousehold.com and its associated YouTube channel and social accounts publish educational content about budgeting methods and money systems. Nothing on this site, in any video, or in any email is personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.

The household is a model. The test family's income, bills, taxes, and debt are a fixed set of figures built from sourced US data (see /about), not a real household's actual finances. Results shown for this household will not match your own.

Free tools. The 1-Month Paycheck Budget Sheet and any other downloadable file are provided as-is, for educational and planning purposes. I make reasonable efforts to keep the figures and formulas accurate but make no guarantee the tools are error-free or suited to your specific situation.
